BATTEM Privacy Policy

BATTEM provides power bank rental, return, deposit, refund, vendor, and support features. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as phone number, Firebase user ID, sign-in status, and verification information.
- Location information, when permission is granted, to show nearby BATTEM stations and calculate routes.
- Rental, deposit, payment, refund, cabinet, and order history information needed to provide the service.
- Push notification tokens and notification preferences used to send rental, account, support, and admin updates.
- Support request information, including issue type, rental details, cabinet details, and messages or notes you submit.
- Vendor and refund information, such as business or account name, bank account number, phone number, and optional notes when you provide them.
- Technical information needed for security, fraud prevention, reCAPTCHA checks, diagnostics, and service operation.
How We Use Information
- To create and secure user accounts.
- To show nearby stations, routes, rentals, deposits, payments, refunds, and order history.
- To process vendor requests, payouts, refund requests, and customer support requests.
- To send service notifications and important account updates.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and service misuse.
- To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve BATTEM services.
Sharing
We share information only as needed to operate BATTEM, including with service providers such as Firebase, Google Maps, payment providers, notification services, cloud hosting providers, and support tools. We do not sell personal information and do not use personal information for third-party advertising tracking.
Location
BATTEM requests location permission to show nearby stations and build directions. You can disable location permission in your device settings, but location-based features may not work correctly.
Camera
BATTEM uses the camera to scan QR codes. Camera images are used for scanning and are not stored by BATTEM as photos or videos.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal or financial requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain business records. Retention periods may differ by data type.

You can manage app permissions, including location, camera, and notifications, in your device settings. You may contact us to request help with account or data questions.
